Dock:
Valve’s got some official Steam Deck docks at Tokyo Game Show, and is using them to charge their demo models. We’ve only had a look at renders so far, but the Dock looks pretty much precisely as it was supposed to be.

Eagle-eyed Reddit user ElderberryLarge9104(opens in new tab) snapped some photos of the dock, one with deck entire and another of just the ports.(opens in new tab) (We noticed the photos on NME(opens in new tab).)

Shipping:
Hello, just a quick note about shipping today.

As some folks on the internet have noticed (we see you Reddit!), we’re speeding through reservations at an accelerated pace. This is due to increased production, and we’ve beaten our own estimates yet again. With today’s batch of emails we’ve now sent invitations for all reservations in the Q3 (July-September) bucket.

Now that Q3 is done early, we’re going to get a head start on the next set of reservations, and are fulfilling reservations that were scheduled for the Q4 window. We’ve updated the store page to reflect this, with an updated bucket description: September-December.

Valve has confirmed all Steam Deck orders will be fulfilled by the end of 2022.

After a series of supply chain issues amid the global health crisis, the video game giant has seen production ramp up, meaning they are now on track to deliver all orders this year.

Those who have already reserved the handheld console will get their device “sooner than estimated”, and even those who order now will get theirs before the year is out.

Valve tweeted: “Great news: Everyone who currently has a reservation can get their Steam Deck by the end of this year! We’ve cleared up supply chain issues, a bunch of folks got moved up to Q3, and all other reservations are now in Q4. “

In a blog post, Valve wrote: “We’re excited to announce that we’re going to be able to fulfill demand sooner than we had estimated for everyone in the reservation queue. Many of the supply chain shortfalls that affect Steam Deck are gradually clearing up, and we’re continuing to ramp production, so we’re able to produce more Decks faster than ever before.”
